My name is Alysha Hammen. I have opened my own salon in Wayland, IA. I have always wanted to open my own salon. I went to La James International College for my cosmetology schooling. I graduated in January of 2009 and started working at Cost Cutters. After working there for about a year and a half I decided to open my own salon in Wayland when I stumbled upon the opportunity. There are a few other salons in this area. I am taking training in nails so I will be able to do a wide variety of services including acrylic nails, manicures, and pedicures. As well as hair services. I am eventually looking to expand and add some services in my salon. I would love to help grow the community. If I were to win the money, I would like to buy some new equipment for the salon, such as a new nail table and a salon chair. Thank you to everyone in advance for the help!!
