The Northeast Iowa Business Network is a voluntary effort by the development professionals representing Northeast Iowa counties of Allamakee, Clayton, Delaware, Fayette, Howard, and Winneshiek. The Northeast Iowa Business Network was organized to promote business and economic opportunities for residents of the Northeast Iowa region through: Proactive efforts to improve the viability of existing employers; Increasing the ease of beginning and growing small businesses in the region; Attraction of new employers providing quality jobs; Assisting in the development of agriculturally related enterprises. The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation is a private non-profit economic development agency that represents Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson and Emmet counties. The Corridor’s mission is, “To foster, encourage, promote, aid or otherwise assist in the economic growth and development of the four-county region.” A major focus of the Iowa Lakes Corridor is fostering entrepreneurship in the region. We provide coaching services for entrepreneurs, from start-ups through maturing companies. We also work to create the next generation of successful youth entrepreneurs, from kindergartners to college students.
