Kabele's Trading Post & Lodge is a historical bait & tackle shop located in the midst of the Iowa Great Lakes region of Spirit Lake, IA. Kabele's is centrally located on the north end of the Iowa Great Lakes corridor in the heart of Northwest Iowa's most desirable recreation area. Kabele's provides an "all around" fishing resource. We provide reliable fishing expertise, experienced professional fishing guide services, fresh bait, modern tackle & techniques, fish cleaning & lodging.
Kabele's Lodge is a cozy 8 room hotel located adjacent to the Trading Post. Our lodge is desirable to fishing enthusiasts, vacationers & wind turbine manufacturing companies.

Kabele's Trading Post is applying for this opportunity to help us continue to make improvements & additions to the interior & exterior of our bait/tackle shop in the Iowa Great Lakes Corridor.
We would use the money to finish the exterior by adding new tin to the north side of our building, so it matches the new tin we added in May on the front of our building. The exterior would also benefit from pavement in front of the buildings.
We would also continue to renovate the interior of our bait & tackle shop so we can add more inventory.
