Northwest IA is a rural area with many small churches and businesses which have basic administrative needs, but not necessarily the budget for full-time trained staff.

What if a third-party could provide these needed services with proficiency and experience at an affordable cost?

We are starting a business that offers a variety of administrative assistance to area churches & small businesses. Examples could include: A call forwarding & answering service, preparing weekly church bulletins, social media management (Facebook, Twitter, etc) graphic design, cleaning services, announcements, advertising, marketing, etc. We'd offer these services at affordable price points but we'd also work with specific churches & small businesses to develop a specialized package based on their individual needs. .

Andy Van Engen was born and raised in Spencer Iowa. He attended college for Art & Graphic Design in Omaha, Nebraska, where he then resided for 10 years. Andy worked for various Design firms during his time in Omaha. He returned to Spencer in the spring of 2011 and has been doing Freelance Design as well as assisting other area small businesses with design, marketing & social media. He has a dream of seeing the revitalization of Downtown Spencer.

Melissa Van Engen was born and raised in Connecticut and has 16 years of experience working in a professional setting, specializing in Customer Service & Internet based businesses. She relocated to Spencer Iowa after marrying her best friend in the spring of 2012.

After both living & working in large cities and then moving to a smaller town where there are more direct needs, we'd love to be able to bring our combined experiences together.

This is where our dream starts...

We would use the $5,000 to invest in the tools needed to accomplish this dream such as printing equipment, computer software & telephone equipment.
