What is WeACT? WeACT has had a physical home in Mount Pleasant, Iowa for over a year now. It has provided children in Southeast Iowa a place to perform and be on stage with various plays and musicals. However at WeACT we not only want to put on the best children plays in the area, we also want to educate and spread the love of theatre as well. So we have been working on getting a performance space in the downtown Mount Pleasant area. We have many dreams to grow big at WeACT Iowa and we can't do it alone. WeACT has had so much support from the community, parents and youth that we know here in Mount Pleasant is where we can grow the most. With the help of the funds from the "Dream Big and Grow Here" contest that is going on right now, we might be able to dream and grow the way we want to. With our existing funds and a few funds from this contest, we will be able to make a performance space and classroom setting that will be ideal for the youth of not only Mount Pleasant, but all of Southeast Iowa.
