Expand my marketing efforts for my business, Clearfork Stoneworks by creating an effective web site

Dreamer: John Kjome
At Clearfork Stoneworks in Decorah,Iowa I create furniture and furnishings incorporating clay, stone, glass, metal and reclaimed wood. My work is a blend of my life skills as a multi-media craftsman. I have a passion for creating functional art and my work can be found in homes here in north east Iowa and south east Minnesota. I re-purpose lumber and other construction materials from mid to late nineteenth century homes and farm buildings into tables then design and fabricate stone, and/or clay and glass mosaic table tops. Many of my tables include old horse drawn or early tractor drawn iron farm implement wheels and parts. My work could be labled rustic and fits well into log and timberframe and lake or mountain home settings. My marketing up to this point in time has been at local private art exhibits and as a participant in regional artist studio tours (Northeast Iowa Artists' Studio Tour in October and Bluff Country Studio Art Tour in April) I believe my art furniture is unique and could eventually support my family if I reach out to a much larger and yet highly focused customer base. I would use the Dream Big Grow Here grant for developing an effective web site that could potentially reach the numbers of folks specifically interested in a product such as mine.
