Our business, Victory Barn, tears down and salvages old barns and other farm buildings. We then design and build barn wood furniture and other items using vintage farm relics and hardware. Our specialties are the "Barn Bed", "Cabin Bed", handpainted barnwood signs and horseshoe decor. We are applying for the Dream Big Grow Here Grant to expand our business, so that we may become a viable business in Henry County and Southeast Iowa. It is our dream to expand and be able to have a retail location to sell our wares. This would enable us to offer jobs and other opportunities, thus improving our area’s economy. We would use the money to upgrade some of our broken equipment, purchase additional materials and take our products out to the community via retail shows and events and upgrade our facilities so we have a place to showcase our products at our business.
